The Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about advancing your skills. You'll practice navigation and buoyancy, try deep diving and make three specialty dives of your choosing!

Here are a few of the many options: Deep, Digital Underwater Photography, Dive Against Debris, Dry Suit, Enriched Air Nitrox, Fish Identification, Night, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Search & Recovery, Underwater Naturalist, Underwater Navigation, and Wreck Diver.

Course Structure

1. INDEPENDENT STUDY

PADI eLearning®

PADI eLearning makes it easy to fit scuba lessons into a busy schedule. Study offline, or online using a computer or mobile device, and connect with your instructor whenever you have a question.

You'll study deep and navigation diving plus three specialties of your choosing.
2. AT THE DIVE CENTRE

With Your Instructor

Once you have completed your eLearning, you'll go over a few more details in person at the dive shop, answer any questions you may have with your instructor and assemble your gear to begin diving!
3. AT THE SEA

Scuba Diving

You are now ready to start diving with your instructor and practice everything you've learned so far!

The course includes five dives: a deep dive below 18m/60f, a navigation dive, and three specialty dives. Gain experience, build confidence and discover your diving abilities.
4. AT THE DIVE CENTRE

Get Your Certificate

After you've successfully completed all of your dives we'll provide you with your Advanced Open Water Diver certificate!

You are now ready to dive deeper and explore our magical oceans further!

Frequently Asked Questions

Medical Requirements
Scuba diving requires a minimum level of health and fitness. Chronic health conditions, certain medications and/or recent surgery may require you to get written approval from a physician before diving.

Avoid disappointment, download and review the Diver Medical form to ensure you won’t need a physician’s approval to dive before enrolling in a scuba course. Instructors, divemasters and dive shop staff are not physicians and should not be asked for medical advice; only medical professionals can give medical clearance to dive.

Minimum Age
The minimum age for the course is from 10 years old and over.
Other Costs & Equipment
We will provide all the equipment you'll need. Just bring a swimsuit and a towel!
